Desertoad has two large bulging yellow eyes, two brown eyelids, two slit-shaped nostrils, and a small mouth. There is a patch of brown skin that starts on the back of the head, runs up between the eyes, and ends above the mouth. The stomach appears to have a segmented brown patch that starts at a point below the mouth and ends between the legs.
